46th AGA successfully finished – new EC members elected

On October 14, 2017 we have had very productive and constructive 46th annual general assembly (AGA) organized in cooperation with Croatian muscular dystrophy association in Zagreb. We had very interesting conference program. The main topic was related to new therapies available for people with neuromuscular disorders (NMD) in Europe, roborant therapies, and modern approaches for electro stimulant therapy. We hosted almost 200 participants from 8 different European countries. We are proud to provide all the participants with scientific publication from EAMDA 45th AGA conference and we will do our best to publish it also this year. We have proved that cooperation between different European neuromuscular disorders associations and scientists helped to achieve mutual goals: to make new therapies for people with NMD available in different European countries, making stronger connections between people with NMD, European neuromuscular disorders associations and industry. Besides the medical part we also showed importance of social part of the program where activities of individual people with NMD from different European countries pointed out the obstacles and opportunities they are facing with in their countries.
